Happy Independence Day! I plan to spend the weekend enjoying having my family around and maybe make a quick appearance at the beach. Our daughter doesn't do well staying up late and doesn't care for fireworks so we usually don't stay out for the displays. The nice thing is that my husband and I don't have to give up the fireworks show because our home is situated right in the middle of five different displays. Usually we crawl up on the roof with a cocktail to enjoy the show but this year I'll be keeping my swollen feet on the ground with a MOCKtail instead.

And even though my last post talked about taking a sabbatical from apron making, I made one today. It felt good, although my feet are swollen now. I had a custom request for an apron with pink cherry print on one side and tomato print on the other. It was fun and came out really nice.
