Last week I had a customer inquire whether or not I could make the pockets larger on a Wonder Woman apron. Of course I can! They are already really big, but she is a photographer and is hoping to cut down on the amount of bags she has to carry around for her equipment so they needed to be extra big. Collaborating is fantastic because I automatically assumed that I'd just make the pockets longer but she suggested that I keep the length the same but make the pockets come all the way up to the gold band. Duh. It is so funny how you can be so familiar with something but never really see it. Having an outside perspective is refreshing.
Because she is planning to keep important stuff in these pockets, she didn't want them to be open all the time. Velcro!
I've had other customers purchase aprons for work, make up artists, face painters and hair dressers but I think this is the first photographer (that I know of), I'm certain this apron will make her get in front of a camera every now and then too.

More Treasuries, Super Heros, Christmas & Gifts
Funny how an item sometimes gets picked up in multiple treasuries at the same time. The following treasuries were all created over the holiday weekend. You see, there is my Captain America apron...
and there it is again in this one...
Then a couple more treasuries to add to the list for the Santa Elf apron that I'd already blogged about being in almost a dozen treasuries:
And this one...
The following treasury is a first for this apron. This apron is one of my all-time favorites and I just don't think I'd done a good enough job displaying it because it doesn't seem to get too much attention. (it is the brown one on the second row) It is a swing-style apron and is beautiful when worn. One of these days I'm gonna put on some makeup and have the hubby take my picture in it instead of the mannequin.

Jungle boogie, jungle boogie ... for the kitchen!
If it doesn't sell on Etsy or at the show I'm doing on the 25th, I may just have to keep it for myself! My half birthday is coming up next month ya know.

Reversable Half apron with Skulls & Oversized pockets

The main fabric for this apron is Alexander Henry's "Astral Skulls" on black. The entire apron on one side is a giant pocket with two circular holes on each side.
The other side of this apron has a pair of patchworked pockets using both the black and the white version of the "Astral Skulls" fabric, with my favorite fabric... zebra.
The straps are extra long and can be wrapped all the way around to tie in the front if you prefer.
All the fabrics in this apron are 100% cotton so this one is totally usable, washable and durable.

If you've ever wanted to get all the attention...

I've heard women complain about how they have become invisible in their own home. The family is hustling and bustling about and no one seems to notice her. Well, with my newest creation, that is sure to never happen again.
There is no way that anyone, of any age, can look past someone wearing a zebra print apron trimmed out in hot pink metallic.
This apron is cut like a sexy dancing dress and is even reversible.
I'm calling her "Cathy"
