I have been making handmade potholders just as long as I've been making aprons, but I've never gotten around to listing a single one for sale online until today. I've had great feedback from them at in-person events and usually sell out, but I have no clue why I've never bothered to put them up for sale online before.
You know me, I don't care much for patterns and if I don't HAVE to use them, I don't. So, as you can guess, I don't use a pattern for my potholders. This makes them funny to display when next to one another because they are all random sizes. Most times I am salvaging up the last bits of the fabrics that I used to make the aprons, but if I have a larger piece of fabric I will lay it out and either put my hand down and guesstimate (a real word as far as I'm concerned) how big or small it should be, or will fold the fabric up and cut several squares at once.
Although the sizes vary, the quality does not. All have at least 3 layers of batting and are hand quilted. I insist that they have some sort of something to hang them with and I also prefer the 'glove' type style that your hand goes inside versus the trivet style that you just have to grasp.

**Note: I tried my best to include pictures here but blogger's photo uploader seems to be on the fritz today. For the same reason, I have no avatar because I was trying to replace it today also. Hopefully, pics will be coming soon***
